Roberta is a Silicon Valley based executive coach and leadership development consultant with 25 years experience partnering with leaders to realize their potential and increase their effectiveness. Through a lens of compassion, authenticity and empowerment, and combining elements of mindfulness and EQ, Roberta positions workplace challenges as opportunities for deep internal transformation. Roberta held executive positions at Elevation Partner’s BioWare/Pandemic Studios, Wired, Shopping.com, Interval Research, Media Vision and Zynga. She also served as COO for Humanity United, a human rights firm within the Omidyar Group. Executive coaching engagements include Google, Nest, Rocket Fuel, Kabam, Booyah, Glass Lewis, Impossible Foods and many others. Roberta has consulted for over 75 client organizations spanning multiple industries.

As part of her practice, Roberta also designs and facilitates custom leadership programs. She is the founder of POWER (Power of Women Executives Realized), empowering women in leadership, and is an ambassador to Green Monday, a global sustainability firm dedicated to addressing climate change, natural resource management, food health and animal welfare. Roberta has a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and an MA in Organization Development from the University of San Francisco.

 
 

LIAN BLOCH, PH.D.

Lian is a seasoned psychologist, researcher, and professor who now leverages her expertise in an executive coaching and organizational development practice. Her work reflects her dedication to facilitating the excellence of the extraordinary leaders who shape our technological, sociopolitical, and cultural landscapes.

Lian graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. and M.A. in Psychology and earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Her post-doctoral fellowship was with the Stanford University School of Medicine, where she worked with couples, families, and elite athletes, including the San Francisco 49ers.

She was a professor and core faculty member in the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology from 2013-2019. Her research aimed to understand how emotional intelligence and communication skills impact the effectiveness of relationships. Her work was featured in media outlets ranging from public radio to pop publications. For a decade, she served as an operational advisor to health tech start ups (e.g., Two Chairs).
